Hartney, MB (CKLQ) – Natalie Williamson stopped 28 shots in a shutout victory for the Westman Wildcats to win Game 1 of the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League Final.
The Wildcats beat the Winnipeg Avros 2-0, thanks to goals by Jori Hanson-Young and Paige Hubbard.
It is the fifth win in a row for the Wildcats, who have only lost one game all playoff run.
Game 2 is on Monday in Winnipeg at 7:00 p.m.
