A trio of Brandon Wheat Kings are up on the NHL’s mid-term scouting report.
To nobody’s surprise Wheat King captain Nolan Patrick leads the draft class with the number 1 rank among North American skaters.
Patrick remains the consensus first overall pick despite only playing 8 games this year and missing the world juniors due to injury.
Stelio Mattheos comes in next at 23 on the list.
Mattheos has 33 points in 43 games this season.
The pair will actually face each other in the CHL top prospects game January 30th.
Ty Lewis is the 3rd Wheat King on the list at the 105th spot.
Other Westman players in the top 100 include Strathclair’s Morgan Geekie (45), Roblin’s Josh brook (50), and Colt Conrad of St. Alphonse (75).
