Portage, MB (CKLQ) – The Portage Terriers have won the MJHL Turnbull Cup for the 4th time in the last 5 years with a 3-2 overtime win over the Swan Valley Stampeders in game seven last night.
Reece Henry scored the game winner midway through the first overtime to give the Dogs the title.
Swan Valley forced OT by scoring the tying goal with just seven seconds left in the third period.
Brandon product Sam Huston opened the scoring and added an assist for Portage who will now take on the SJHL Champion Battlefords North Stars for the Anavet Cup.
