Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Seeding progress is estimated at 99% complete across Manitoba.
According to the latest stats from Manitoba Agriculture, seeding is complete in the Central and Interlake regions with small amounts remaining in the southwest and northwest regions.
Precipitation has been limited in most parts of the province with the exception being parts of the Southwest and Northwest Manitoba.
However, crops have benefited from the warm temperatures and good progress has been made on weed control operations.
This year's seeding progress is one percentage point off from 2017 data as well as the five year average.
