Province offers free entry to parks all month

Ice fish without a licence on the long weekend


Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - The provincial government is offering free park entry for the entire month of February.

Vehicle permits will not be required in any provincial park, but SnoPasses will still be needed for snowmobiles using groomed trails.  

Entrance fees will still apply in national parks.

Meanwhile, anglers will not need a licence to ice fish during the February long weekend.  conservation limits will apply, and a federal licence will be needed in National Parks.

Parks staff will also be offering interpretative programs every week in February.
