Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Manitoba RCMP report 35 people have died on Manitoba roads due to impaired driving this year.

These deaths are 100% preventable.

The RCMP are happy to partner with Operation Red Nose for its 24th campaign which is set to kick off today.

Thanks to the 2500 Manitobans who volunteered over the 2017 holiday season, nearly 4500 people made it home safely. 

Organizers say volunteers are still needed this year.

Services will be available starting this Friday.

Hours of operation will be 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights throughout the holiday season.
