Manitoba Public insurance released its list of the Top Five Frauds for 2013 today.
The number 1 spot is help by a man who claimed that his friend was driving his vehicle when it crashed into a train.
The trains video camera proved that the man driving was the person trying to make the claim, his blood alcohol level was double the legal limit.
MPI's Brian Smiley says that investigations into these incidents have saved Manitobans a lot of money.
Other incidents include people claiming that their vehicle was stolen and a Ontario man pretending to live in Manitoba for cheaper insurance.
