Ceremony to be held near North Hill development

Gambler First Nation will break ground on its new development in Brandon today.

The area on Brandon's North Hill has been in the planning stages for years by Gambler First Nation, the City of Brandon, and Indigenous Services Canada.

The project is aimed to bring economic benefits to both the City of Brandon and Gambler First Nation.

The ceremony at 1725 18th Street North in Brandon will commence at 1:30 this afternoon.

Gambler First Nation is a small community located west of Binscarth, with a population of less than 300 people.
