Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - If you have holiday cards and parcels to send you better get on it.
Canada Post is racing to keep up with a surge of holiday mail in the final weeks before Christmas as the typical volume of cards and packages reaches record levels.
To facilitate the higher demand, Canada Post hires approximately 2,500 seasonal workers and rents 900 vehicles.
Deadline for local delivery of cards is Wednesday, December 20th, within the province ins the 19th, cards sent outside the province should be mailed out by the 18th.
