Neepawa, MB (CKLQ) – The Boissevain Centenials are provincial champions.
The Centennials woke up Sunday in Neepawa with one goal in mind, win.
In the semi-final the Centenials got their revenge on the South West league champion Oak River Dodgers.
With memories of being swept in the league final the Centenials jumped out to an early lead and topped the Dodgers 8-6.
It set up a final against Morden who had eliminated Pilot Mound 5-4 in the morning’s semi.
In the championship game Boissevain score early again holding a 4-1 lead after the second inning.
The Mohawks rallied in the bottom of the 7th, but a pop up behind first base put an end to the effort and Boissevain claimed the win 4-3.
