Service extends TransCab shuttle to serve those left without service

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) -  Brandon Transit has made it official - two routes will be terminated, starting March 4th.

The South End Link (number 16)  and Mall-Downtown Link (number 19) routes were considered to be under-performing.  They fell victim to budget cuts to the Transit Service during budget deliberations last month.

However, Brandon Transit is offering customers affected by the changes an extension of the TransCab service.  Transit users can place an advance call to Transit dispatch, and will be picked up and shuttled to one of eight authorized TransCab bus stops, allowing access to the rest of the Transit system.

TransCab dispatch can be accessed at 204.729.2241.

The details on the service is available at brandontransit.ca
