Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Brandon Bus Lines began its service to Winnipeg this week.
The regional bus line is hoping the fill a hole in the market left behind after the exit of Greyhound Canada from Western Canada
The company runs a bus from Brandon to Winnipeg each morning, with a return trip each evening.
Demand stops can be booked by riders in Carberry, Portage la Prairie, and Winnipeg's Polo Park.
The final stop of the run is the Maple Bus Lines office on Winnipeg's Sherbrook Street.
Additionally, Maple and Brandon Bus Lines are cooperating on parcel service between the two cities.
Spokesperson Jeanelle Hrechka says the service has only been running since Monday, but they're getting a lot of interest in the route.
Greyhound Canada stopped running its Western Prairie routes at the end of last month.
