The advisory was lifted at noon on Saturday

Dauphin, MB (CKLQ) - A boil water advisory has been lifted for Dauphin.

The advisory was issued on Thursday because test samples of the city's treated water supply contained coliform bacteria.

The advisory was lifted at noon on Saturday.

Manitoba medical officer of health Dr. Denise Koh says in a letter to the city that the water system has met all conditions for rescinding the precautionary advisory, and that testing results meet regulatory standards.
