I am ½ of the Starfm Breakfast Buzz, heard weekday mornings 6am-9am! I was Born in Minnedosa and raised in Erickson, working in 6 radio markets over 17 years, most recently at Z99 Regina. In June of 2000 I was lucky to be one of the original staffers to turn on the transmitter at 94.7 FM. I’ve been married to Tracy for almost 16 years and have two incredible children, David and Liberty. David is in 5th grade
and Liberty is in Grade 1. I love to travel and Bar-b-q. I’ve also been know to take part in various other cooking contests, but grilling is the best. I also love Mexico! That’s why Star Jet is so near and dear to me. I love the climate, the people, the food, the drinks. It’s all good. Hawaiian shirts are a staple in my closet. I’m a political junkie, and watch hours of NFL on Sunday with David. Our teams are: 1) Vikings, 2) Bears, and 3) Broncos. Like most Westman families, we struggle with both time and $$$ but find a way to make it all work as best we can!
You’d be surprised to know that I:
-was in air cadets as a kid
-played the alto saxophone for 6 years
-married my high school sweetheart
-taught Sunday school (Can u believe it?)
-Was on TSN in ’91 after streaking at the Grey Cup
-voiced ads for the US grocery chain Kroger, Ashley Furniture

I'm Tyler's Partner in Crime on the StarFM Breakfast Buzz! Though not originally from Westman I've spent more time here than any other part of Canada I've lived in and after more than 15 years of at least temporary habitation I consider myself an honorary Prairie Girl! I'm an Army/RCMP brat that has lived in a handful of towns and cities across this beautiful country of ours, but my most recent address before moving to Brandon in 2005 for some higher learnin' @ ACC was in Boissevain!
I was born in Victoria, BC and lived most of my life bouncing back and forth between the West Coast and the Ottawa Valley (Yes, I am the OTHER kind of Valley Girl!) so when you hear me whine about how much I hate the cold - it's for GOOD reason!
I'm Krys to many but Mom to one special Brandonite! Lucas is an only child and I've spent the last 7 years raising him as a single parent. He loves soccer, riding his bike and sending me raving up the wall just like any kid does!
I'm a bit neurotic and prone to rambling... Especially when it comes to healthy living and kid stuff! My raging obsession with Gerard Butler and Jon Hamm will never be satisfied... I have the world's worst short term memory and can't even remember the name of a song that played 5 minutes ago but can recite each line in the Little Mermaid - to my best friends' frustration! I'm terrified of sleeping in mobile homes; My fear of clowns is gradually improving as I'm exposed to them on a regular basis around here; and (once I'm actually out of bed!) I really and truly LOVE waking up early and spending my weekday mornings with you!
