Oh where to start, well I grew up in the growing metropolis that is Holland, Manitoba. Ok, maybe metropolis isn't the right word but it's a nice small farming town. I spent my high school days at TCI which is only about a 10 minute bus ride from Holland, but those were some fun and interesting bus rides.

I love to watch and play pretty well any sport. NHL playoff time is like Christmas for me, even when my Oilers can't quite make the cut. I've played hockey pretty well all my life and was a pretty good track runner in high school, but my physique is not what it used to be.

 In June 2009 I graduated from ACC with my Media Production Diploma and was lucky enough to land my first job here in Brandon at 94.7 Star FM. I have had some good times and am looking forward to many more.

• - My nickname "Sandman" comes from my hatred of getting up in the mornings
• - I grew up in Calgary for 3 years
• - I partied on White Avenue during the Oilers 06 playoff run
